Hello Everyone! Thank you so much for visiting my website.
My name if Osvaldo Vazquez, better known to most of you as: OVAZ.
While I reside in New York City, I’m originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
I’ve been designing my One-Of-A -Kind creations for about 15 years now, and is something that started out as a hobby. I
presently manage a tourisim company in the United States.
I started creating doll fashions by mere coincidence when I wanted to obtain my High School diploma in February
instead of June; so I took a basic sewing class to get the extra credits needed.
I had never intended to use the sewing skills learned because my desire was to work in the Hospitality business where I
would be involved in the Hotel and Restaurant industry.
While vacationing in Puerto Rico I visited one of my sisters; source, inspiration and the main reason I got into this
hobby.
One day while looking over her rather large Barbie collection, we talked about how much time and money she spent on
the dolls, their clothing and accessories. I picked up one of the dolls and said “I can do this as a hobby, after all I already
have the basic sewing techniques”. So we went shopping for materials and the rest is history.
I am very fortunate to have had the support of a loving and wonderful sister, who encouraged me and got me started on
my way. Plus the fact that I live in New York! The City that Never Sleeps, where you can find anything and everything
you need, as well as this being the Fashion Capital of the World.
When it comes to hair and make-up, I have to thank my best friend Rafael (Coty). He is one of the best stylists and make-
up artists in San Juan, P.R. He was always practicing hair styles, cuts and hair color on me! Thank God I still have all
my hair! I’ve applied all his styles to my dolls.
I also want to acknowledge my wonderful family and friends for their love and support, and last but surely not least, I
want to thank YOU, all my dear clients. Because after all without you WE are nothing!!!
